On Ramp Skills in Demand - Blue Earth County
The Skills In Demand class is a partnership between Mankato Adult Basic Ed and MRCI/Blue Earth County Employment Services that offers work-related preparation for in demand occupations.
The goal of this class is to prepare students for success in employment or post secondary education.
Course Overview
The goal of the On Ramp Skills in Demand class is to fully prepare our clients for immediate employment or post-secondary education opportunities upon completion of the program, as well as maintain stability in their personal and professional life. Career related training classes may be available in the areas of Para Pro, Serv Safe Food Handling and Bridge Programming.
The class also adheres to a strict policy regarding attendance, hours required, and professionalism in order to prepare work readiness.

Customer Service training/hands-on experience working in school snack shop (every participant can earn money towards interviewing clothes!)

Prep to assure success for Bridge Programming in healthcare, manufacturing, HVAC and CDL.
